At TibetanKeys, we are committed to digital literacy and the absolute privacy of our users. Our mission is to provide powerful Tibetan typing tools without compromising your personal security. We have built our mobile apps, extensions, and web tools to be as private as possible.
Keystroke Privacy: Our custom iOS keyboard extension operates locally on your device. We do not collect, log, store, or monitor any keystrokes, passwords, or personal data typed using our Monlam layout.
Infinity Vault (Encrypted Transfer): The Infinity Vault allows you to securely transfer documents between devices. All data is End-to-End Encrypted (E2EE). Your text is encrypted on your device before transmission and can only be decrypted by a recipient with your specific 8-character key. The developers have no technical means to read your content.
No Identity Linking: We do not require accounts, names, or emails. Documents are identified only by random, temporary PINs and are never linked to your personal identity.
Keystroke Privacy: The TibetanKeys Android keyboard extension maps characters locally on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or monitor any of your keystrokes, passwords, or personal data.
Infinity Vault (Encrypted Transfer): Similar to our iOS version, the Android Infinity Vault uses End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) to protect your documents during transit. Your data is encrypted locally and is only accessible via the unique 8-character PIN. We do not store plain-text copies of your data on our servers.
Offline Functionality: Apart from the voluntary Infinity Vault transfer feature, the keyboard engine is designed to operate entirely offline.
Our Chrome OS keyboard extension operates entirely offline. We do not collect, store, transmit, or monitor any of your keystrokes or personal information. The "input" permission is strictly used to locally map keystrokes to Tibetan Unicode characters directly in your browser.
Zero Accounts: We do not require users to create accounts or log in to use our typing lessons or the "Page" editor.
Local Processing: All typing performed within the TibetanKeys Page editor happens locally in your browser memory. When you choose to "Save as Word," the file is generated on your machine; no copy is transmitted to or kept on our servers.
Financial support via UPI QR Code or PayPal is handled entirely by your chosen third-party banking app or PayPal. TibetanKeys does not receive or store your bank account numbers, credit card details, or financial credentials.
We use standard website analytics (Google Analytics) solely to analyze overall traffic trends. This data is anonymous and does not track your personal identity or anything you type.
